Run or Walk the ROCK!

Both the 10K run and the 5K walk begins at 2:00 pm. Race day registration starts at 12 Noon and ends at 1:45 pm. The race committee reserves the right to reschedule or cancel if in their opinion, weather conditions are unsafe for the participants.

The course is a rolling out & back course (6.2 mile Run, 3.1 mile Walk) on a traffic-free asphalt road through a mountain forest. Water will be available on the course. Split times will be given at the 1, 3.1 and 5 mile markers.

Afterwards, enjoy cookies, Cookies and more cookies, plus hot and cold beverages will be served. Portable toilets will be available.

Coopers Rock State Forest is located along I-68, 13 miles east of Morgantown, WV and 8 miles west of Bruceton Mills, WV. Take exit 15 off I-68, turn south into the state forest and follow signs to the race site. Registration/check-in will be held in the Day Use Parking Area near the forest entrance.

Awards (10K Race Only)

Overall - Top three overall male and female finishers.

Age Groups - Top three male and female finishers in each of the following age groups: 19 & Under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54

Female: 55 & over, Male: 55-59, 60-69, 70 & Over.
