When: Saturday, May 15th, 1999 at 8:00 AM

Where: The Capon Valley Ruritan Club, Yellow Spring, WV
(Yellow Spring is 25 miles southwest of Winchester, VA.)

Race Fee: Pre-entered = $35.00, Race Day = $40.00

Distances:
This will be a 50 K (31.07 mile) cross country trail run. The start will be held at the Capon Valley Ruritan Club in Yellow Spring, WV.

Course Description:
There will be 1 mile of pavement, out and back, then the course will be entirely on beautiful dirt trails and spectacular old country dirt roads. It is hilly with excellent footing and there will be several stream crossings. Markings will include bright colored surveyor's tape, and the course will traverse roads accessible by vehicle, so there will be plenty of aid stations.

Additional Info: There is plenty of room for camping with toilet facilities.
Lodging may be available if enough are interested. The Ruritan Club will have homemade ice cream and baked goods for sale. There will be t-shirts for all participants.

Location, Facilities: The race will begin at the Capon Valley Ruritan Club in Yellow Spring, WV. Go west on Route 50 from Winchester, VA for 12 miles. Go south (left turn) on Route 259, go 10 miles to Yellow Spring and the Ruritan Club.

There is plenty of very flat parking for campers. There are toilet facilities. We may arrange shower facilities if needed. The Ruritan will have food for sale and there are two country stores which also have ice and gas. This is approximately 1 3/4 hours from Wash., DC. It is a spectacular country setting, and is easy to get to.
